Performing Arts & Music
Immerse yourself in the rhythm, storytelling, and cultural energy of music and the performing arts.
One of my favorite things to do when I travel is to seek out performances, particularly music concerts (I’m a classical music lover), dance performances, plays, and musicals. It’s often the first thing I research when planning a trip: What’s on while I’m there?
Over the years, this habit of planning for performing arts travel has taken me to concert halls, small churches, historic theaters, and tucked-away community venues. Some performances have been serendipitous discoveries found on a poster taped to a wall; others were the result of booking months ahead.
Experiencing the performing arts in different places has deepened my connection to local culture in ways that feel joyful, meaningful, and memorable.

If you love performing arts travel, the posts in this hub present tips and stories related to attending concerts, theater productions, dance performances, and cultural events.
Classical music buffs should check out my description of a memorable performance at Rome’s Palazzo Poli. Theater lovers will find inspiration in my post about Stratford-on-Avon where I’ve not only seen several productions, but have also taken the Shakespeare tour guided by the Bard himself. Use this hub to spark ideas for seeking out your own memory-making experiences.
